At Badger Cryogenics and Heat Treating, Inc.  we specialize in providing extra strength and durability to metal by deep freezing tooling to -300 degrees F.  The cryogenic process enhances metal and its grain structure by redistributing its molecules into a more coherent status from each other, which greatly reduces stress in metal.  This all means that your perishable tooling lasts longer, wears better, and needs sharpening less.  Recently, Badger Cryogenics added an Ipsen Turbotreater Vacuum Furnace, which has the capacity to reach temperatures up to 2400 degrees F.  With the addition of this 2 bar, nitrogen atmospheric quench furnace, Badger can vacuum harden tool steel.  We are proud to bring these services of heat treating and cryogenics to central Wisconsin.  Please note our address and telephone change as we are now located in the Reedsburg Industrial Park, Reedsburg, WI.
